Coming Out...

You've seen the TODAY show segment on Infertility Support groups, right?
I just watched it. Very well done, imho.
So well done that I just posted it to my Face.book page. Yep, I'm officially testing out the Facebook waters.

You also know that I am (trying to) start a support group here in my own community. I made a special Face.book page to help promote it. Would you like to check it out and tell me how awesome it is?

PS: Congratulations are in order for Rebekah who is PREGNANT, and for Emmy who just welcomed her perfect little daughter into this world.

Hey Hun, just saw your comments. The videos are actually by a lady named Mompetion;

Best of luck with the new group and the baseline!

Just got your comment and I will be following you as well! I hadn't seen the Today show clip and I agree that it was well done. Hope they continue to raise awareness. It's great that you are starting a support group, wish you the best! Here's to March/April BFP's!!!

Love the support group page. Looks like you're making a great start of it. I watched the Today show clip ans enjoyed it. Is it strange that I wish that they has found someone who hadn't had a "miracle" natural conception after IVF? I feel a little bit like it feeds into the misconception that getting pregnant (even through IVF) fixes you, and then you're not infertile anymore.

Thank you for the shout out Foxy :)
I think the story is very good. I too sort of feel the same as Jenni - it just seems that everyone clings to the "adopt and you'll get pregnant" or "stop trying and it will happen" which is 100% not true for most of us...So yes, the natural conception after IVF goes along the same vein. But aside from that I am very, very happy they featured something like this on national tv. Good for you for "coming out" and posting it on FB. I should do the same...

Good for you for starting your own support group, I go to the one on my area and it has been so helpful. Good luck with your IVF cycle, I'll be following along. I am hoping this is the lucky month for all of us.

I don't watch Today, so I hadn't seen this yet. Thank you for sharing; I think it was very well done.

I admire of you for finding the courage to go public. I hope that you will find people to be as amazing and supportive as they were in my experience. And I'm so proud of you for starting the support group. I am sure that you are going to help a lot of people with this!

You know what is interesting...I was working with Resolve to do one in my area and before we decided on where (I live in the least populated area of the region) my DIUI worked. I'm crossing my fingers it happens for you too!
