Sharing

I think that I am going to share my blog with my mom.

I can't stop thinking about the sweet sweet comments that Julie's mom and Alison's mom have left them, and want my mom to know about these awesome supportive blog friends I've discovered.

Hi there, and Happy ICLW! I'm impressed with your willingness to share your blog with your mom. I actually have two separate TTC blogs: one that is my part of the ALI community, where I put everything, and one that my friends and family know about, where I put some things. This is the first post I've read of yours, and so I don't know how explicit you get, and I also, of course, don't know your mom or what your relationship with her is like--that is, how intimate you are willing for her knowledge of your process to be. Regardless, hats off to you. Sharing is a good thing.

Take care,

ohhhhhhh this is brave, but so good. I think my mother would be so happy If I shared my blog with her.....I wont.....but she would like it. I like to be free to say what I want, my mother has a tendency to only want me to say positive things, and my blog isn't always that positive! Can't wait to see how your mom receives your blog and the comments she makes.

I hope that it is beneficial to you to do it...I am in the process of making mine private, LOL. But not necessarily because of family. Good luck, sweetie!

I hope she enjoys your blog as much as we do!

If you feel it's right, then I'm sure it will be great. I'm sure it will give your mom another reason to be proud of you!

I would share it with my mom if I thought that she would have the time or inclination to read it. But - My family isn't very big on secrets - so I share with my mom most of what's going on in general anyway. She took me to my HSG when Jakobe wasn't available.

I haven't shared it with my mom yet- which I really don't know why. She knows about everything. But I did recently share it with some close friends who know about all we've gone through/are going through.

Good for you! It will probably really tighten your bond with her. Unfortunately, my parents aren't internet-ers. So, I have never had to make that decision.

I love that my mom reads, but Jeff's mom, birth-mother (he's adopted), his half-sisters, and my aunts all read too, and that gets really nerve-racking. I wish I had asked my mom not to tell anyone. There are posts I would like to make, but since they deal with in-laws, I try to avoid them.

It was difficult for me to share my blog with my mom, but I'm so glad I did. She loves reading it!

My mom and sister read my blog. They don't comment, but it's nice to know they are reading.
